RE-Entry Permit Bio-metric testing appointment
Hi,
I just tried calling the USCIS from the UK to discuss by pending application but could not get beyond the recorded message.
I need to re-schedule my biometrics appointment and was wondering as to whether I could request a specific date?
The system would not recognise my receipt no. saying that I had not enough numbers etc. (10 digits) My number is the correct receipt number!
Has anyone else had this problem? and/or know a better number to call than the toll free 800-375-5283

No, you cannot request a specific date. Once you have the biometrics appointment letter in hand, you can do 3 things:
1. Go on the appointment date; or
2. Go earlier than the appointment date; or
3. Mail back the part of the appointment notice which has the request to change the appointment date. You will receive another appointment notice in the mail, for a new appointment date of USCIS' choosing.
