Question on GC - its been six months
I got my passport stamped with I-151 October last year. In contrast my wife got her
passport stamped last january only and now she got her Green card already and i still
dont have mine. whats going on?
I wrote a letter to Ins and no reply yet. of course, its very difficult to contact
them by phone. On their website (Texas), they said fax is the best way to follow-up
but it seems that their faxes are not working.
what do you think should i do next? thanks -lb

Re: Question on GC - its been six months
Judging by other postings of those receiving Green Cards lately, it seems the INS is
currently working Green Cards from both ends of the list to the
middle.Six months is overly long to be waiting for your card, but if you want to find
out what is going on, contact your congressman or senator and have them make
an official request for you. Take Care. Shelley
