question about salary
I m a student from Croatia and i was wondering what is the average salary in
america ? That was my first question, the second one is : how much can
average engeener make money in one year ?

Very difficult to give average salaries for the whole of america because the cost of living can vary a huge amount from one state to another. You really need to give some kind of idea of which state you intend to live in and also where abouts in that state, if it is one of the large one (eg. CA or Texas).

Go to the website below - it is for Hotjobs.com which is one of the biggest web job posting boards.
They have a tool which show average salary for different jobs in different states.
An average salary for the US is not going to help you, as Ben said you need to know for your specific industry/type of engineer/state or city.
Your salary as an aerospace engineer in New york city would be much different to your salary as an electrical engineer somewhere in South Dakota.....
