Do they accept money orders, and if so do we need to make a money order for each papers
filed or can we make the money order for the whole amount all together?

Thanks in advance.

Anne.

Anne:

For payment information, I would adhere to the instruction list of each application and
supporting document that you must file.

I don't really see why any of the Los Angeles INS offices would not accept money orders in
general, as they are like "traceable" cash. However, with regard to whether or not you can
pay with one money order for the entire contents of your application - I would confirm
this with your regional/local processing center. You can never be too careful.

For additional information of Forms, Fees, and Filing, see:
http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/fo...finger/asc.htm

and... http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/formsfee/index.htm

Good luck!

Here is a cut and paste from the LA Website

Paying Fees: Fees may be paid by either personal check or money order made out to "U.S.
Immigration and Naturalization Service." Do NOT make the check or money order out to INS.
Cashiers are located in Room 1001.

This group has always recomended that if you are filing by mail you should make out a
seperate check for each form to save the whole package being returned. If you are filing
in person one check normally does all.
