I was just curious what others have written when requesting provisional file be
opened and packet 3 sent to fiance? Is there a particular person/department such
requests should be addressed to, etc?

I'd like to have the fax all typed up and ready to go as soon as that NOA 2 arrives!

Hi Kristin, I used the provisional file sample letter off of Doc Steen's visa site.

It seemed to work. I faxed it (and a copy of our approval notice) over to the embassy
in amsterdam on 3/22/02 and my fiance received his "packet 3" on 3/26/02.

Which embassy are you using?
