While checking the I751 processing for VSC over the las weeks (no movement) I have noticed that CSC states a duration (ie: 6 months) for most all of its listings; NSC states an application date; TSC states a mix of dates and durations; and VSC is mostly dates.
Is this a new thing?

Not entirely new, no. In the last year or so, SCs have been reporting either the projected time for completion or the date of the oldest file... whichever is older. So, for most things, they're projecting 6 months - that's how long they figure it'll take.

To be your surprise, my online status for I-751 says they are processing cases for Jan/2007 while my file was submitted on May/2007

According to above processing dates, I should wait long enough before they process my file but NO, I already received my 10 years green card this month.

Nothing adds-up because INS has their own rules and regulations when they look at each and every case.
More likely you provide them what exactly they wanted to see in your documents, your case will fly. But no one knows what exactly they wanted to see when you send then all documents.

This will make no sense to say here but they know all of us personally? I and my spouse barely able to spend 1 day away from each other and here you go, they approved our status adjustment case right away
