Correct?
Okey dokey!! I am confused. I guess I need to go back to pre-school with JEff.

Let's recap:
1. No one accused you of lying about what you were told or misrepresenting what you thought you were told.
2. YOU may be under the jurisdiction of this particular senator, but not everyone is, so if I were to call him up that would be completely useless (for several reasons).
3. Just because a congressperson's liason told you that there was a high degree of success with expediting the cases you referred to, doesn't make it FACT, first off, and it doesn't mean it will apply to ALL cases.
4. The congressperson's liason doesn't make the decision on which cases get expedited. That is the job of the USCIS in the US (regarding petitions) and the consulate abroad (regarding interviews).
5. The people asking this question need to contact an experienced immigration lawyer first, who can then help them sort out the issues specific to their case.
6. I doubt that Mr. Folynski or Mr. Udall feel you stepping on their toes.
7. Stop speaking in generalities and making assumptions. It's a dangerous thing to do.

zeo,
What possible help could be obtained by contacting a judicial office? A judge would be of no value at all.

US Rep's call not validated at US Consulates overseas
this is quite enlightening for me Rete.
I've never heard of that. In fact, it was a US immigration attorney that just a week ago told me that if my 2nd NOA on my I-129F for K-3 goes over the 90 days, to call my US Rep and ask him/her to contact the NVC for expediting of my request. He also told me that before I travel to Consulate's interview, to request similar favor from US Rep so he/she can contact US consulate overseas about favoring my husban'ds interview. How erroneous was that?
Thank you!

Nothing erroneous but strange for an immigration attorney to tell you this without telling you that the US Consulate does not have to do what the Congressional rep asks them to do. Also strange that an immigration attorney that you are paying money to will not do what you are paying them for. Look at one of Mr. Folinskyinla's posts from the past where he tells you point blank, the DOS (US Consulate) cannot be sued. You can sue the USCIS though. It is like the DOS is a power within itself.
As for the rep contacting the NVC you will note the immigration attorney told you to contact them if the 2nd NOA is over due. But again, they don't have to listen to your Cong. Rep. In fact many here feel that the intervention of a Cong. Rep.'s liasion only made the situation worse and not better.

I see, the correct source of information on USCIS (Executive Branch) is
the the Leglislative branch of government... Can you tell me what a
fiance visa has to do with someone already in the US with their spouse
filing I-485? They are already together... What is emergency?

For more information, refer to the US Constitution, or the 100 sample
questions for the Naturalization exam... (I know the answers quite well
as I spent a good part of last night testing my wife who has the
interview in 2 weeks)

What judicial office should she contact to expedite an I-485 to adjust
status. Since both of them are in the US, why do you think they would
need to expedite the process?

For a fiance visa, not for an adjustment of status where both people are
together already.
