Police Certificate for IV interview at Delhi

Hi I'd appreciate if someone can answer this for me. Does anyone know if Police
Certificate is required for Immigrant Visa interview at US consulate at New Delhi
(India)? US consulate at Mumbai (India) has a better website which tells that it's
not required for one appearing for interview at Mumbai... don't know if that holds
true for Delhi too... Thanks in advance -bobby
