Betastar,

i understand you have used the Charlotte area office. where/who did you guys get to do
your photos? the instructions (I-485) were specific as to pose, size, background, etc. is
this similar to a passport photo and how many did y'all have to get made?

Thanks!

Sorry, but we got our photos done at a shop in Bad Ischl, Austria.

HOWEVER - I do know that AAA in Raleigh does the immigration photos - and if you're a
AAA-Plus member they do them for free.

The photos you'll need are NOT passport photos - they are a 3/4 face pose. The full
instructions for them can be seen at: http://www.oddstray.com/k1_visa/photos.html

You can also get your photos done at a kinko's. We did at the one in Chapel hill. Just
tell them it's for a visa and they'll do the 3/4 face pose. The person doing the photo
knows how to pose you, but may forget about such things as glasses and earrings. Also, the
ear closest to the camera (I think it's the right), has to be exposed. Check out the
website that Betastar suggested, so you make sure you know what to do and don't have to
repeat the photos. My husband forgot to remove his glasses for the first set, and now he
has to repeat the photos.
