I have read the specs. I have seen examples. Can these be taken using a disposable?
35mm? Should I go someplace to get my ugly mug shot?

Will passport photo places take these?

I suck as a photographer, any tips?

Hi,

I don't think a disposable camera is such a good idea. As specific as the directions
for the pics are I would take the examples with you and haven them taken somewhere.
My fiancee had em done at Walgreens and they turned out good and were not very
expensive (while mine where which I had taken at a photographer). Don't forget to
take off glasses (in case you need any) and no earrings. Britt

So if I walk into walgreens and say I need and ADIT photo, they will know what I am
talking about?

I dont mind paying. I just want to find a place that does it.

Some places that do passport pics can do them....check ahead of time so they
know what you need and take the specs page with you. Kinko's and AAA often can
do them as well.

My recommendation would be to go to whatever place is next to your local INS office -
if it is nearby.

No, you cannot walk into most places and say, "I want an ADIT photo" and expect them
to know what you are talking about. That is why you need the M-378 INS ADIT Photo
Specifications sheet.

Do a search on the Internet, I am sure you will run across one you can download
and print.

That is a short drive. Go there and get your M-378 or whatever they are
calling it now.

Or just go to Kinko's, they USUALLY know how to do "Immigration photos".

Actually since we've had about 5 or 6 sets of those done. Yes you can pretty much
walk into a place and say you need an ADIT photo and they will know what you're
talking about. Most of the time they have the Photo Specifications sheet hanging
on the wall.

Just go somewhere and say you need the ADIT style photos for Immigration if they
know what you're talking about.. get it done. If they have no clue.. try the
next place.

Or if there's no Walgreens in your area, call AAA. They know how in Raleigh,
NC at least.

Check your yellow pages for photographers who do Immigration photos. Not all will do
them, since they are a bit more complicated than passport photos. We had ours done in
the San Francisco Bay Area, and there were numerous options. It only took about 15
minutes. Read the instructions before you go, so that you can make sure they are
doing it right. And don't forget to have an extra set made up in case your first ones
get lost in the mail or something. Good Luck.

Diane M.
