Default People in N.W.Central Florida

As you know we left there earlier this year. We also left our dog Bruno to serve out his quarantine with a 'friend'. Said friend suddenly started to avoid me. It now turns out that Bruno has gone 'missing'. I'm asking for a simple favour can you all keep your eyes open in your local papers for him. I was told that he disappeared in the Hudson area but I'm sceptical so it could also be Citrus county.
He's a Bloodhound
He's 4 years old and red.
He is chipped
He has a strange gait from an accident that smashed his hips when he was a pup.
I know it's a long shot but I'm trying all other avenues I can think of yoour help would be appreciated.

Sad news, but wonderful idea to use every avenue open to find your beloved dog. If I was there Id be out looking for me; and have a few choice words for my socalled friend.

Thumbs up Re: People in N.W.Central Florida

Sorry to hear he is missing/stolen. Inform as many shelters, vets, animal control places as possible. Hopefully he will be back home soon. He looks a lovely dog. Good luck with finding him.

How generous...

Thyd, keep an eye out on petfinder.com, it's where different shelters list dogs they have up for adoption.

O poor Bruno, and poor Thyd!
I dont' know the cities well enough but check for postings on craigslist (Florida cities here) and post your own under lost & found.. stranger things have happened.

Fingers crossed for a speedy reunion.

I would also call or e-mail the SPCA, sometimes lost dogs are returned to them or animal control. I would even go as far as letting the police know your dog is lost. More than once in victoria, the police have found a lost dog and returned it....

good luck sweetie.

You didn't leave him with your neighbour, did you?

I hope you find him, I'd try calling every animal shelter around...

I've called and alerted all the civic pounds. I've along with my cohort have been searching all doggy found sites. I actually thought I'd found him last week but that one had nuts
