passport question...

Default passport question...

Im getting ready to go back to Australia to file the paperwork for the INS so my
husband can join me here in Phx Az. I need to change my name and address on my
passport and i need to know something. How do i get a certified copy of our marriage
certificate so i can send it to the passport people. We were married in Sydney
Australia.Thanks in advance for your help.... as always you guys are awsome...

Wouldn't it be easier to go with your current passport to Australia and then get the
marriage documentation? After all, you don't need the passport changed right away.
Your husband is already in Australia and should have no problem at all in finding out
where to go.

i need to change it before i go because since were already married i need his name on
the passport not my exhusbands... im sure it wont be that hard to change my info on
my passport to reflect my current husbands name...

Your husband should be able to find out in Australia how to get the paperwork with
just one call to where you got married. My point was that you can go to Australia
without changing the passport.

Does your husband hold your marriage certificate ? If he does just get him to get a
certified copy of it and send it to you.
