Default passport and green card have different names

hello all,
Question
I just got my green card and it has my marriage name on it.
however i never got a chance to change my passport name - it is still
maiden name
I know i need my marriage certificate with me when I go away but .....
what name should I put on my plane ticket?
anybody has any idea- does it matter?

thanks,
ewa

I put my wife's name (married name) on our tickets. She uses her PR Card
for identification with TSA plus her passport if asked for it. When we
came back she only showed her PR Card.
The only problem we have had with the name being different was LEAVING
France. The French immigration officer gave her a little of a hard time
that her passport and ticket name were different. I was going to show
him her card, but he just waved us on. As I said when we go to the U.S.
she only had to show her PR Card. I'm sure he stamped her passport, but
I don't think he even looked at it. Either way nothing was said about
the names being different except as we were leaving France.

I believe your plane ticket must be made in the same name as your passport. Bring your marriage certificate along to show why your green card is in a different name.

Best Wishes,
