Default Paperwork to Lawyer??

When your documents are prepared and mailed by a law firm acting as "attorney or representatives", is all documentation - NOA's etc - from the INS/BCIS (etc) mailed directly to the lawyer? Vermont is the service center if this makes any difference.

Appreciate any input!

Usually the attorney and client will both receive original approval notices. That provides a nice little safety net for the client in that it is more likely that you will have the approval notice on hand for the AOS process.

During the AOS process, this safety net is even more important as the attorney will also be receiving important correspondence from the District office for important events such as fingerprint appointments, AOS interview appointments, etc.

When I receive such an appointment letter, I always call the client to make sure they too received the notice, and if not (which often happens) I send them my notice so they will have it to take with them to their appointment.

Good luck.

All my NOA's have been sent to my attorney so far, then he instructed me what to do. However I was told to pay attention to mails coming to my home as well in case BCIS use my home as my mailing address.
I don't know if "attorney respresenting" makes any difference or not, but you may want to make sure your attorney or law firm notify you accordingly when they receive correspondenses from BCIS.

The original NOA1 went to my attorney, who then sent me a copy in the mail. The original NOA2 came to my house directly. My fiance's Packet 3 from Ankara got sent 3 weeks ago to my attorney's office. She has not received it yet.
