Hi All

I got laid off on 3/20 and now has an offer from a firm and wanted to
get my H1B transferred over to the new company. I wanted to find out if
my H1B can still be transferred.

The facts:
- I got laid off on 3/20 (the last paystub she has is for 03/20)
- My Employer had filed my H1B in Oct 2005 with a future start date of
April 03 2006.

So, I was on F1 visa till 04/03/06 and after that the H1B kicked in,
but I got laid off before that (on 3/20/2006).

Can anyone tell me if I still have a chance of getting my H1B
transferred over to the new employer. Or is there any other procedure
by which I could start working.

Any help would be appreciated.
