Default Oath Ceremony

DH finally had his oath ceremony last week, and he is now a US Citizen! 6 years to the day from the day we met. i cried the first half thinking (as my daughter will be born in less than 4 weeks) that i should never have to deal with INC, USCIS, ICE or whatever they decide to name next.....EVER AGAIN!!!

we are thrilled.

now, for a question....
the husband of a friend was denied his citizenship because of a domestic violence issue with his ex. he is appealing it.

however, when his GC expires will he be able to renew it or does the renewal of a GC have the same restrictions as far as following the law that becoming a citizen does?

Congratulations! As for your friend, he can continue to renew his green card every 10 years, even if his citizenship was denied.
