Default O1 Visa help

Hi all

Just wondering if someone can help me? I am applying for an O1-B visa and have a company who is sponsoring me and acting at my 'agent'. I am filing as a Media Manager and have a couple of offers of work as well as the offer from my sponsor. My question is, can I work for other companies as well as the ones on my original application? If I can work for other companies do I have to hold a position as a Media Manager or can I work as one of the positions in my other offers, in my case PR Manager?

Thank you so much in advance for all your help.

Are you coming over to offer freelance services then?

My sponsor is a new company to the US and although I think (hope) I will be working for them exclusively it may take a while to get started and want to be able to have the opportunity to work for another company to make money. Would I be better putting the title 'freelance' before Media Manager?

Thanks so much for responding to me

Normally when a company sponsors someone for a visa, that person can only work for that company. However companies such as outsourcing companies sponsor people on H-1B visas and contract them out to other companies.

I suspect something similar occurs for some on the O1-B visa since movies stars, models, etc. may contract out their services.

I'd suggest that you have a one time consultation with an immigration attorney that specializes in O1-B visas.
