NYC: how long for word on interview?

We're dealing with the New York City INS office. Our AOS, AP and EAD receipt of
payment is dated 7/24/01. Already received EAD card in September. AP denied twice:
first for lack of papers (we had a complete packet) and second for lack of payment
(we attached copy of receipt). Any idea when we would expect some word on the
interview, even if it may be two years from now?
