NSC now on April 23
Just talked to a misinformation officer at Nebraska. She told me that they were on
the 23rd of April. I asked her how much longer it would be and she told me just a
short wait. I then asked her what that meant. "Another 3 to 4 weeks". Just movin'
right along.
1st NOA 5/10/2002.

And the misinformation officer at NSC told me just yesterday 2-3 weeks. My 1st NOA is
5/30/02. I guess they use the "New" math.

Re: NSC now on April 23
Thats odd... I just talked with my MIS-information officer (after you had posted
this) and she said it was still April 22nd.
When I asked how old her 'report' was, she initialy said 'weeks' then corrected
herself and said August 2nd.

Like I have said before take what those officers tell you with a grain of salt cause everyone gets a totally different story. Unfortunately the only way of knowing what is going on is waiting for people to post they been approved or calling the automated number & hearing you have been approved. Which BTW is back up & running.

The Automated system isn't all the way up. It still says it can't find my petition
but I know they have it because the misinformation officer pulled it up yesterday. So
they might be in the middle of fixing it but it isn't up all the way.

Ah Shucks! Now I won't be able to enjoy all the stories and tall tales told by the
misinformation officers... I was going to see how many different stories I can
collect. See if I can collect the whole set.....

Re: NSC now on April 23
I don't know if this is of any use to you guys going the K1 route, but I just called
the INS line and my I-130 just got it's second NOA, it was approved 5th August, 5
days short of a year....so someone is working in there;-))))) whilst I am here does
anyone know if this now means we can now not continue with the K3 we have filed, like
so many others we are caught up with MSC and waiting the 2nd NOA from them... Anne
