139 long days.
On Monday, Mar. 10, I called NSC and was told the case has not been assigned yet but it is on its way to being assigned to a case officer.
The petition was approved on Tue., Mar. 11
I was expecting a RFE due to the fact that I did not include any photos with the two of us together.
I guess it did not matter but I was expecting a RFE.
All the documentation was held together with a large paper clip and it was in no specific order. I sent just what they asked for.
When I read the instructions regarding the required proof of meeting in person in the last two years I understood you can send any of the items listed and I sent in copies of the airline tickets and copies of the passport showing the visas with the dates.
I was concerned about the N/A vs. None as answers for some of the questions but it was too late to do anything about it, I had already sent in the petition. Looking at the copy I have here with me I don't think I could have gotten it any more incorrect than I did when answering the questions with N/A vs. None. It looks like multiple choice test and I kept alternating between N/A and None.
Good luck to all still waiting for NSC and other service centers and the ones that are approved but still waiting on their loved ones.
For me this is not over but I hope the rest of the process will be easier.
Thank you

raduGS,
Damn man, am I glad to hear that! I was pulling my (&%)@&% teeth out when I was filling out mine and have had constant migraines wondering if I did it all correct. I was told that by just dotting the wrong I's or not crossing T's that you could be sent down the rejection shoot! If you are curious, I did put a picture of my packet on my website. www.frontier-trading.com/k1.htm I was thinking of keeping an extra copy to frame
Congradulations on your approval!
Scott
NOA1 - NSC Dec, 16th
NOA2 - Hopefully before my 85th Birthday!
