Finally got some contact from the consulate today, seems they want me to send my passport in for 'adjudication'. Unsure if I should read this as good news or not but at least it means my wait seems to be coming to an end and it's been quite a wait (interview was on 4/10/2024).

Well I think you can take this as good news, and I recall that others here recently also received the "adjudication" email and did get their visas. Nothing is guaranteed though until the system says "Issued" and you have it in your hand :-) I'll update the sheet, and keep up posted on when you send your passport off and when it comes back.

Well it does sound hopeful but not getting my hopes up quite yet. Will let you know when I've posted my passport, but need to figure out how to get them to change the courier return address they have for me as we bought a new house and moved very recently. Have emailed [email protected] about that and got a support ticket reply but that might have been the wrong email address to use.

Hi everyone
I am also in "time out" to receive hopefully new waiver. First waiver was in 2022 and only took 4 weeks. So it had me by suprise that it now takes so long. Glad I found this forum because otherwise i thought that this long process is not normal. Had my E2 interview on January 16, 2025 and checking emails and case status like a stalker but when I see your list it makes me understand this is normal processing time. Not sure if ARO is even open with the government shutdown. Some online information say yes some say no.
Hope everyone waiting gets soon a positive update.

Update the sheet when you send off the passport, and keep us posted.
All the best,

A section 214(b) denial is that the ConOff was not satisfied that you qualify for visa issuance. Specific grounds requiring visa denial will be under Section 212(a). The waiver comes in to overcome what would otherwise be a mandatory denial, say for an old minor drug offense.

Hi there ive only just signed in so forgive me for not reading the thread yet, ive quickly glazed before work and will catch up later today. From what ive glazed this morning I'm going to assume I've got an issue and will need to delay my holiday to Florida departing London 31st August 2026. Ive had 2 visas previously (both times for travelling ro Florida for holiday), a 2 year visa back in 2015 and a 5 year one back in 2018 the wait time then was 6-8 months, both visas through waiver of ineligibility after interview. I've had my interview this year 2nd October 2025. From current lead times its looking like I need to push date back. I'm aware you shouldn't book holiday until you have your visa but ive incorrectly worked on the assumption ive had it twice before (with no change in criminal record since i was a young silly teenager with a misdemeanor so shouldn't be an issue). October to end August is roughly 9/10 months. What are your thoughts from what you guys have bern seeing on the thread. Not sure if worth mentioning I am a UK citizen and have lived in England all of my life. I thunk the know the answer but let me know what yiu guys have been seeing recently, thanks alot.
