NIW CSC processing times
Processing times for NIW based cases at the california service center
(CSC) went from April 2002 to Nov 2002 last month. Its hard to believe
that INS has suddenly become effecient in processing NIW based cases.
Does anyone have any info on why NIW cases are being processed so
quickly. Is CSC simply denying all the NIW cases.
Has anyone recently received an approval/denial notice from CSC for
their NIW case.

They probably just made it a priority. INS works that way; they sometimes
leave certain types of cases sitting for a couple of months, and then put
all their officers on to just one type to get caught up.
Of course, it could also be a mistake. INS actually guesses the processing
times; they do not have a system to track how long the case really took.

Re: NIW CSC processing times
It is almost certainly a mistake, I am following my brother's H1B, receipt
notice Sep 27th, processing times (Texas) point to mid-November.
