NEW Passport.....NEW information?
Good Evening all.
Does anyone know if old passport information is available to other
countries when you legally change your name and apply for brand new
passport.
I am aware that forms you fill in entering the country ask you, but is
it something that is available to them if they are not aware of this
change?
Does US have accsess to finger prints in the UK and what are the
chances they check these?
Many thanks for your time and effort.
Alan

Re: NEW Passport.....NEW information?
Whow. I bet the authorities never thought to check this when tracking people!!
Seriously, since 9/11 I can confirm that data is so inter-nationally shared that my neice was stopped entering Canada on her way to the USA because the Canadians had her entire US immigration record, including an overstay. The canadians put on her the same plane and sent her back home.
The UK and USA share all the time. How do you think it was that just last month a UK to USA bound plane was sent back because they didn't want one of the passengers on US soil. Name changes are all too easy and in fact probably flag you even more, as if you are trying to hide something!!
If you did manage to enter by hiding something then are you also aware that the USA more often than not, counts that as an ILEGAL entry, prohibiting you from changing status etc., in the future, even through marraige.
Just making sure you have all the facts.
