Default New Here. Paris - Indy. NSC - Nov.25

Hi everyone.

My American fiancee and I applied at NSC almost 4 months ago (Nov.25)
and I have been reading the posts here everyday for a few weeks. I
decided to start posting to thank all you guys for the invaluable info
you provide here. Frankly, I have no idea how applicants facing
150-180 days of wait and who are not aware of such a forum can
rationalize the situation. I found here so many clues and so much hope
without which I would have gone insane. Thanks everyone.

Leo from France, moving to Indianapolis.
NOA1 Nov 25 NSC
NOA2 Hopefully within a few weeks

disent) a l ambassade a paris. Ils ont mis 2 semaines pour la recevoir. Etant
(ds-156,ds156k,ds-230 prt 1,ds-2001 checklist)Ayant preparé mes docs a l
deja.
bonne chance
jennifer

hey, hey... have fun in Indy... I'll probably have moved from here by the time you get here, but give kisses to downtown for me... don;t live on 9th and Penn, the library construction is like a million earthqaukes waking you up each morning... good luck and have fun. Sorry Indy's not as fun as Paris.

Hi Beyness,

I am going trough the Paris Embassy but I live in Rennes, a
couple hours west. I am only 24 but I lived for 2 years in Indiana in
the last 7 years, on student visas. I went to Broad Ripple High in '97
and to Ball State 2 years ago. I love Indy and can't wait to move
there. Don't worry, I won't be near the Library construction as I will
living on the West side. I also already have a job waiting for me
there. I met my fiance 7 years ago and have never derived from wanting
to move. My fiancee is pretty much bored with Indy though so we have
plans to move to Chicago in the near future.
Sorry to say that but I've never really enjoyed living in France and
the best times I've had have been while living in the US. (Could it be
because the love of my life is over there???)
The recent tensions between the US and France have only made me more
eager to move and 'join the other side' LOL

Salut Jenifer,

Bonne chance a toi. Thanks again.

Here is a transalation of the basic facts:

Jennifer is from Alsace and waited 5 months for CSC approval. Paris
took 2 weeks to receive it via cable. Jennifer received the forms
(ds-156,ds156k,ds-230 prt 1,ds-2001 checklist) one week later. She
sent back the ds-230 prt 1 and the ds-2001 checklist that she had
prepared in advance. She received interview date 1 month later. The
interview is in 10 days. She will bring the ds-156 and ds-156k and all
docs related and the I-134 Affidavit of support.
She advises me to get the I-134 ready, to request my police and
military records. For her, 2 months between approval and interview
date.

Hi Leo:
Welcome to Indianapolis when you get here! I was born and raised in Indy and have lived on the west side. Now I live in Greenfield (25 miles east of Indy) with my British husband. He's been here since last November. We were just at Broad Ripple last weekend. Paul really enjoys it there. Reminds him of England a bit.
Cheers,
Kady
