Default Need some advice...

Firstly, I'm Canadian, my girlfriend is American. I have some questions...

1) We're planning on getting married in January. If she applies for the fiance visa
in June would that be enough time for me to get the visa to come in January?

2) What kind of problems might we encounter if we moved to Washington state from
Arizona right after we marry? (Assume she transfered jobs.)

3) I understand that I could get advanced parole to visit Canada a few days a week
to finish college. (If not, correct me.) Further, how long does an application
for advanced parole take? I know it varies but an estimate would help.

4) If she files for the fiance visa in Arizona and we move to Washington state
should we file for the AOS in Washington state or Arizona?

Thank you ahead of time.

Maybe, it would be close. Better to apply just a tad earlier. I'd give them a full
six months, just to be safe.

No problems. You can live anywhere.

You can find info on the Seattle INS office from other persons' experiences here:

I'd file in Washington State, because it slows everything down to transfer a
file...to the tune of 3 months IF you are LUCKY. Alvena See the Doc Steen site here:
http://www.mindspring.com/~docsteen/...o/visainfo.htm I am not a lawyer, and this
is not immigration advice. The information I provide is mostly gleaned from old
newsgroup posts and visa links on the internet. If you want or need a lawyer, go to:
