naturalization and name change
Hi,
I went for my naturalization interview and told the examiner I needed a name change.
The examiner helped me filled out all the necessary papers, and got it done. However,
I got the notice to the oath ceremony this morning and found that the name on the
notice is still my old name. Is this a problem? How can I check if the name change
has been done? Will the final certificate use this name too?
I looked through the notice but there's no phone number to call...
thanks, alice

If you want to get a reliable answer, you'll need to ask an attorney. But my guess
is that this is correct because your name change won't be effective until you are a
US citizen.
