Default Name Change for USA before or after?

Hello all,

All my US info is still in my maiden name but I have been working/living in my
married name in the UK. Will this affect me in any ill way in our I-130/green card
move to the USA?

Is it possible to have a new SS card issued while in the UK or should I wait until I
get back to the USA?

Thanks in advance Lottie

Why?? What does changing your name have to with whether your husband gets a visa? If
they don't require the non USC to change their name, they certainly would require the
USC change it.

He will not be able to get it until he becomes a resident. He would become a resident
on the day he enters on the visa.
