When did you have your interview?
Thanks!

security check still needs to be completed. There was no
talk about specifics (he didn't even mention what kind
of check it was). I have found out the status of my name
check by faxing to FBI Records Division.

The other document (probably N-14) but I'm not sure says no action required on my part. And the box "Other" is checked and there it is handwriting of the officer "ADMIN". Anybody knows what it is?

You wrote: «My name check had a hit in the database (there was a word "error" there) so they have to do it again. My question: where did you see the word “error? Was it on a document in your file? Was it on computer screen? May be you were told that there is an “error but didn’t see it yourself?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thanks N400LA !
I do have another question for you.
What did you write in the “Middle name line of N-400:
1. your full otchestvo;
2. the fist letter (an initial) of your otchestvo;
3. nothing (left blank)?
The interviewer told me that the delay in my name check process has something to do with the way I wrote my middle name (otchestvo) in N-400.

My theory is that young not married males under age of let's say 35, are a subject to additional security screenings...
