I got my interview notice in the mail yesterday for mid-April. I'm scheduled to be
sworn in at Boston (JFK Federal Building).

PD 3/31/2000 Fingerprinted 5/16/2000 (took 2.5 hours) Received letter early October
2000 interview 12/21/2000 (waiting + interview took 1.5 hours)

Typically how long does the whole check in plus swearing in take?

I can't answer your question, but I am wondering why it took so long between your
interview and oath. 4 months seems excessive to me.

I went to one in Houston. It took about 3.5 hours. About 2100 people got sworn in.

My file had to be sent from Cleveland (where I adjusted) to Boston (where I applied
and was interviewed). Or at least that's what the interviewer told me.
