Default N-400 Fingerprinting

Yipeeeeee! Steve finally received his NOA for his fingerprint appointment for January 16, 2003 at Cleveland. Getting a bit closer to citizenship.


N-400 Timeline so far:

August 30, 2002: Sent N-400 application to NSC

September 7, 2002: Received the return mail receipt from NSC dated and received by NSC on September 03, 2002

September 13, 2002: NOA received from NSC dated September 09, 2002

December 14, 2002: Received NOA dated December 10, 2002 for Steve's fingerprint appointment on January 16, 2003 at the Cleveland INS Office.

Ranjini, you're right, it is nice to finally have an appointment. When I collected the mail and saw the envelope today with US Department of Justice I actually shouted "Eeeeeeeeeeee it's here" of course Steve hadn't seen the envelope and had no idea what I was on about...lol! He'll be getting his prints next month and you will be passing your citizenship interview and test .

Thanks for the link on your homepage for the questions on the naturalization test Some are downright silly, i.e. Why did the Pilgrims come to the US: a) to meet the Indians .....

I answered all 100 of them and damn sorry to say that I got 5 wrong out of the 100 ;-( Guess I have to bone up on some history.
