Cool My N400 Interview

Hello all.. I had my interview today.. was very nice and smooth.. officer was very nice.. didn't even go through the whole application.. But i was freaking out.. as I always do when I am getting ready to take a test.. He went through marked everything.. asked for my passport and green card, and drivers licence.. then he asked some questions like have u ever been arrested bla bla bla.. i said no except a traffic ticket.. he updated my app and wrote on their what for, and when.. and asked weather i paid .. then he gave me a letter that said congrats.. you have recommended for approval.. upon final approval you will recive ur oath notice.. NOW I M FREAKING OUT>.. my freind was their .. interviewed with the same officer.. did not disclose her ticket.. and I did.. and we both were approved.. I am soo scared that this will cause my oath to delay or something.. i was reading posts and asked lawyers they all said just say .. noo never been in trouble except a minor traffic violation.. i wish i didn't say it.. ohh well whats done is done.. thank god I was approved and hopefully will get the oath letter same day as my freind if not.. i will have a heart attack.. I have been waiting so long for this day.. I hope all goes well.. and it will.. with the will of god..

In my opinion, you should feel glad that you disclosed that ticket and were
honest with the officer. If, for some reason, the USCIS finds out about
your friend's ticket, her application could be denied because she lied to
and/or withheld information from a USCIS officer. If, for some reason (maybe
very unlikely this would happen, but you never know), the USCIS finds out
about the ticket after your friend has become a US citizen, again, they
could strip her of her US citizenship for lying or withholding information.
You shouldn't be "freaking out". I doubt that a minor traffic violation
will cause any delays in your application, especially if the officer with
whom you interviewed approved your application. Congratulations and stop
needlessly stressing over this!
