my DV-2003 interview experience
hi there,I just want to share my experience with all of you
interested.
I applied for green card lottery for the first time and I was very
lucky to win!
my case number was 0002xxx.I'm from Europe by the way.Yesterday was my
interview date.The interview was formality,just a few questions:what
kind of education do I have,who are the people who sent me the
guarantee letter,why did I apply and what will I do when I come to
US.That's all.Impression that I got during this interview thing is
that they knew that they will give me the green card before I even
came there.
If you're lucky enough and got called for the interview, I think you
don't have to worry.It's a piece of cake.

I want to ask you about what you said "who are the people who sent me the guarantee letter". I have some good friends and they will have the interview in february. They need an affidavit of support, but the form that I've found on INS web site is just for relatives, not for friends. What kind of guarantee letter should I send to them? Can you give me an example of that letter? Is that like an affidavit? They just want to show at the interview that they have a place where to stay when they will come here, in US.
