Moving after citizenship application is to be sent - change of address
I need to submit my US Citizenship application in Apr 07. We are
planning to relocate to my parents' home after Apr 07 to another state
and change our address. To avoid any change of address complications
while my citizenship application is pending (starting Apr 07), which
address should I place on my N-400 citizenship application as my
"Current Home Address":
1) my current address at the time I prepared N-400 form in Apr 07
2) my parents' home address where we will be after Apr 07
My parent of course live in their home and can accept mail and any
correspondence to my name sent from INS (if #2 is ok to do).
Let me know. Thanks for your help.

You basically have two choices:
If you file prior to moving, you have to count on USCIS to send your file to
your new district office after you move (I assume it'll be a different DO,
since you said you're moving to another state). From what I understand, this
is essentially asking for major delays in your processing, since files and
requests to transfer files get lost all the time.
If you file after you move, you must live in your new district for at least
3 months (last I checked) prior to being able to file. In order to be
considered a resident of your new district, you have to properly establish
residency, e.g. by getting a new driver's license, having bills at your new
place, etc. You also have to notify USCIS as soon as you move (regardless of
whether you're planning on filing any applications in the near future).
Also, I do not think the new DO will interview you, unless you have been
living in their district for at least 3 months regardless of whether you
file with the old or new office. So even if the file transfer should go
smoothly, a move will cost you three months minimum either way. I would
definitely NOT file with the old office, but wait until I am in the new
place.
As a note, one could theoretically begin to establish residency at the new
place now and file in 3 months.
