Default Medical

Tried looking thru past posts but can't seem to find this one - how long does the medical take? I'm guessing you have to wait like in a dr so your apt time might not be exactly right but how long does it actually take roughly?

Thanks

Nicci, if you are asking about the visa medical in London, you need to say so.

There are some people here applying in the US who also get medicals, but their answers wouldn't help you. I just happened to have read your other posts and know you are applying for a visa.

This page, and the links on its right, might help you.
The Medical Examination

edit: could've included our own wiki entries here http://britishexpats.com/wiki/K1_Lon...bridge_Doctors and to remind you about getting a copy of your vaccination report from the immigration medical for your own records. Please read the pinned thread here about what you'll need for the medical *after* arriving in the US and applying to stay.

I know there have been some great threads posted recently by Pepsichic and YouWantFriesWithThat if you're up for some searching.

Hi there Nicci
If you're talking about the visa medical at Knightsbridge Doctors, I went to the Bentink Mansions Surgery this morning and the whole process took about an hour and a half. I was scheduled for 9.30am, arrived at about 9.15 and was out by 10.45.
My vaccinations were up to date so I only needed an xray and the physical and it was very simple and straightforward.....Good Luck!
