Mcdonalds Sandwich
#1

The world's most expensive sandwich, priced at £85, has gone on sale at Selfridge's department store in London.
How can they call the worlds most expensive sandwich a "Mcdonalds Sandwich" thats just criminal, surprised Mcdonalds hasn't decided to sue. This one certainly won't be on the $1 menu.

The more famous McDonald's are probably delighted to be associated with a top quality sandwich rather then the tasteless crap they are normally known for. I think they're more likely to pay him a fee than sue.
I quite like the irony.

"Just had one of those rather Delious McDonald Sandwiches" - not going to look too impressive there.

For that money, I'd rather have a very good bottle of wine. Enjoying the wine would last longer than eating the sandwich.

It's a gimmick/publicity stunt designed to get Selfridge's some free advertising and cultivate their image of being the shop for the rich and famous.
Seems to be working quite well.
