Default Mcdonalds Sandwich

The world's most expensive sandwich, priced at £85, has gone on sale at Selfridge's department store in London.

How can they call the worlds most expensive sandwich a "Mcdonalds Sandwich" thats just criminal, surprised Mcdonalds hasn't decided to sue. This one certainly won't be on the $1 menu.

I have to agree. Everyone knows that McDonald's "beef" is questionable in the first place.

err cos the chef's name is McDonald

The more famous McDonald's are probably delighted to be associated with a top quality sandwich rather then the tasteless crap they are normally known for. I think they're more likely to pay him a fee than sue.

I quite like the irony.

I understood that, imagine trying to look all swanky about buying your £85 sarnie.

"Just had one of those rather Delious McDonald Sandwiches" - not going to look too impressive there.

For that money, I'd rather have a very good bottle of wine. Enjoying the wine would last longer than eating the sandwich.

I'd rather have a good curry and a few kingfisher beers and money to still go back in my sky rocket.

Isn't the criminal bit that they have the nerve to charge 85 quid for a sarnie? Although, free market and all that - theres bound to be some twats around that have more money than sense and think its worth it......

anyone know what the difference is between this wagyu beef they're talking about (never heard of that) and kobe beef that sounds like it comes from similar cows...?

It's a gimmick/publicity stunt designed to get Selfridge's some free advertising and cultivate their image of being the shop for the rich and famous.

Seems to be working quite well.
