Yes, you can. Unless you murdered someone, an offense that took place at age 12 is pretty much irrelevant.

No need to worry. They don't have the resources to do background checks on people at the border... that's why you complete ESTA before you travel. By the way, nothing's going to show up even if they did... because the offense happened when you were 12.
