London Embassy Wait Time
Hi all
I've filed a DS-160 for an NIV. The Embassy website says that current interview wait times are 14 calendar days, but the current first available appointment is 22 October - over a month away!
Does anyone on here have experience with rescheduling an appointment? How often do new slots come up? I'm trying to get an appointment for the 2nd week in October, and I want to book my flights home, but it's difficult to time it when scheduling an interview is so uncertain. It's chicken and egg.
I called the appointment line and they just told me to keep refreshing (or book an emergency appointment, which I'm sure would not apply to me - it's just convenience / annoying for work).
Any other tips?

Keep refreshing and do it early morning. Not much else you can do. Be bloody quick when it does come up.
