You asked for it :-)

There were a bunch of Irishmen married to USCs who were caught
here in the US in a federal sting operation for supplying contrabands
to the IRA to support their foreign activities.

Do your British ex-spats friends think those Irishmen were good US immigrants?

Their wives and children are real Americans, and are petitioning to keep
them in the USA despite what they did.

If they were Pakistani instead of Irish, the story would
have been very different now.
Not all immigrants appear to be treated equally here in the USA.

Please return to your HOMEland now, work hard, and make your country a better

to live in, for youself and others like yourself.

Immigration is not always a good thing.
It costs money, and you may not like the USA, and many immigrants decide to
return to their HOMEland after living here for a couple of years anyway.
The U.S. has high crime, un-employment etc. and you will have to deal with
the INS bozos, which no normal person really wants to do.
Some real Americans even like watching the immigrants have to deal
with the INS bozos.
And you won't need to answer difficult U.S. immigration questions
about your past too.

So remain in your country and have a good life.

The alternative is for real Americans to do absolutely nothing until it is too
late to
do anything about it.
Then, real Americans can try to emigrate to get away from all the problems,
like you.
In order to be born in the US someone somewhere had to immigrate. Your decendents did this along time ago, including all indigenous people. So I should marry my current GF and take her away from her family whom she is very close with, just because you hate immigrants?

Gee man, I hope this anger that you have leaves you soul before you hurt someone.

What is it with you Brits and this fixation on ancestry?
Is this why you Brits support a monarchy blindly?

Where were YOU born?
Not your parents or ancestors. I mean YOU!
You want entry concessions into the USA today because
there were immigrants here in the past before you?

    >Gee man, I hope this anger that you have leaves you soul before you

The messages in this newsgroup prove that it is you criminal Brits
posting from your British ex-spats accounts who are trying to come
to the USA in large numbers to continue committing violent crimes here.

So please declare your criminal history at the POE.
And have your criminal records/documents ready for INS inspection, or
we will have to send you back home.

Brits can place their criminal records inside a folder with the Union Jack
on the front cover for easy identification by our INS agents at the POE.
Patriotic Brits can also stick a picture of the Queen on the top right
corner of that folder, like a postage stamp.

And please teach your Manchester United hooligans to behave, and
keep them in the UK.
Because no country wants them.

Default Ignorance

As an American, I must beg pardon from all who this idiot insults with his hatred.

Perhaps he never heard of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Samuel Adams (not the beer) Ben Franklin, or any of the other famous "immigrants" to the USA (all were born in England). The first 8 presidents were all foreigh born actually.

I am sure he is also unaware of other celebs such as: General John Shalikashvili, Admiral Hyman G. Rickover, Madeleine Albright, Henry Kissinger, Alexander Graham Bell, Bob Hope, Angela Landsbury, Gloria Estefan, Ann Margret, Sidney Poitier, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Malcom Forbes, Irving Berlin, Al Jolson, Frank Capra, Pamela Anderson, Edward Teller, Enrico Fermi, Albert Einstein, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Mann, Charlie Chaplin, Joseph Pulitzer, Alfred Hitchcock, Louis B. Mayer, Samuel Goldwyn, Levi Strauss, Carlos Santana, Gene Simmons, Peter Jennings, Neil Diamond, Andre Agassi or many hundreds of others whose contributions have helped make America what it is today (for better or worse).

We of course have many famous "Real" Americans, such as: Timothy McVeigh, Charles Manson, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Dillinger, Billy the Kid, O.J. Simpson...

There are good and bad in all lands. There are people that contribute, and those that leech off of every society.

While I might agree that America is being flooded by immigrants in the last 50 years, and I personally believe that too many from certain countries are being allowed in- I do believe that most will be an asset to the US.

Washington was born in Virginia, the child of wealthy English landowners, Jefferson and Monroe too, were born in Virginia. Ben Franklin, John and Samuel Adams were born in Massachucets; Hamilton in the West Indies (a British colony). [/pedantic] Not picking at your post, just wanted to point them out, from what I'd read.

However, a number of members in the political and command structures of the Continental Congress where either British by birth or descent, had studied there, or had ties to England.

*******I agree with most of your post, particularly since I am married
to a foreigner and have had quite a few interesting experiences during
our immigration experience.
A BIG *however*....you are extremely WRONG about the place of birth
regarding the founding fathers you mentioned. I am a 14th generation
Virginian and I know American History like the back of my hand. I am
blood *related* to most of the names you dropped. Every one of them
were BORN in America.

Where in the *world* are you getting your information? I've got a very
busy life but this post was so shocking to me that I am more than
happy to provide you with citations to prove I am right. In the
meantime, pick up some early American biographies. You clearly need to
become better educated on these matters.

The Dutch and English descendents are trying to leave SA due to crime

Well, to start off, im of Dutch descent, male line goes back to Hans
ca. 1699-1700, probably goes further back than that but thats as far
as we can prove, Virginia records are skempy from that period.

The Dutch DID start a stupid colony over here, New Amsterdam, and Hans
possibly came from there.

Anyways i agree with Amer, im an 'merkan no prefixes.

im sure fit right in.

Okay, maybe you have found some mistake. Please write and some others will pick on you.
FFFF..... be proud on a free country where you can to a certain extend choose your lifestyle.
Here in europe we have to many rules, muslims etc
Here they tell you that you can put your garbage out between 06.00 and 06.45 but only if it's blue, humidity is below ... percent and your wife accompanies you in a football shirt.
Guys, be proud to be american. Everywhere is somethin to complain, you live in a great country.
No-one can build somethin alone, we need eachother, even if we want to just visit eachother to have a nice holiday, when we tell you how to find your way around so we all have a nice time.
Life is too short

I've seen orfaniges in Peru with children 2 - 7 years old. They have nothing. BUT they HAVE STILL a smile on their face.

We don't achieve anything with hatred.

so, thats out. Have a nice time

Another example of how the Brits try to steal the credit from real Americans.
Is this the kind of nonsense they teach you in the UK?

Slaves worked hard to build this country.
They are NOT immigrants (ask Dekka's Angel on British ex-spats)
American Native Indians worked hard to build this country.
They are NOT immigrants.
Real Americans who were born in the USA worked hard to build this country.
They are NOT immigrants.

Most immigrants these days are useless people trying to take the credit of
a small number of helpful immigrants and try to steal the credit
of non-immigrants.

This is a very small number of people compared to the total number of
immigrants
who come here annualy.
So most immigrants are useless people.
And the fact that you chose to ignore the loss to their country of origin
indicates that you have no allegiance to your country of origin or
where the quality of life of others in the world is headed.
All the "immigrant" wants to do is barge into somebody else's country
which will offer him a higher quality of life.
Ask any Asia Indian or Russian.

Yes, too many British ex-spats are being allowed in.

A more common theory is that the colonialists ruined the lives of the natives
in South Africa, and the repressed natives are now retaliating.
If the colonialists had intergrated the natives into the nation, things
would be different there now.

That country is beyond redemption in the foreseeable future.

Listen Amer2003 (and I am trying really HARD not to go nuclear) aka sick, twisted, xenophobic, racist troll:

I am TIRED of you using my name and my very-tailored argument to support your grossly-overreaching, hate-filled point. I explained my belief about why slaves are not immigrants, and why the label in our case does a disservice to our quite unique American experience. I stand by everything I said.

But that is NOT the same thing support for YOUR argument, or any other of the sick ones you've made since, about the distinction between "Americans" and Non. To the contrary, as I reiterated the ONE time I responded - we ALL built this country. Immigrants and non. Go back and read it, if you like.

This weak bullshit of yours about "Real Americans" being defined by a US-issued birth certificate finds no support in law *or* reason. It's just hate, from everything I've seen you post. And no matter what I personally think about any issue, hate is not what motivates me. And it turns my stomach to be associated with it.

So stop. If you don't know how to make an argument on your own fine. Stop making the argument. Especially if you wish to pull those of us who have made plain our disagreement with you and your viewpoint clear since the moment you opened that cesspool you call an American mouth.

Thank you.
