Labor Certification - Notice of Case Closure
My case was at the Philidelphia backlog center and I just got a Notice
of Case Closure. They contend that I did not reply to their
communication or that my reply was incomplete. I have proof that I
replied in time (by fax) and that the information they requested was
complete.
I have informed them about this and am just waiting for a response.
Anyone been in this same situation? What was the outcome? That Philly
backlog center makes me so mad, they are not only slow, they are also
disorganized!

Re: Labor Certification - Notice of Case Closure
because reapplying will take me another 3 years and a whole lot of
money. now you understand? and it was their instructions that faxing
the info to them is accepatable.
anyway, lets see if they acknowledge their mistake.

Re: Labor Certification - Notice of Case Closure
You have to file a motion to reopen. This will take some time to
adjudicate however b/c the BECs don't have procedures in place as of
yet to address such motions.
Hope this helps.

Re: Labor Certification - Notice of Case Closure
that's what i'm afraid of =/
it's bad enough that it took them years to get to my case, now because
of their error, it gets pushed back further.
