Labor Cert for almost 1 year
It's been 1 year since my labor certification was filed in California and I don't see
a lot of progress. I know my process is in EDD Sacramento and that's it. Talking to
my lawyer he says that due to the economy I have to "pray" for my process to be
approved, etc....
Can someone clarify what's going on or if they have any recent experiences?
Thanks

This is due to a surge in applications in April 2001 due to the expiration of 245(i).
Because so many people applied all within a few days, processing time has been stuck
for a while.
All states are currently experiencing an unusually long processing delay
because of that.
