Default L1B interview cancellations

I have an interview with the US embassy in London to complete the L1B application process.

My appointment is in 5 weeks, but I don't want to wait that long. Has anybody ever obtained an appointment sooner, by getting appointments from people who have cancelled theirs?

Thanks!
Richard

Why not? Do you think either your job or the US will disappear before then?

You can phone up whenever and ask them if they have had any cancellations. Make sure you do it from work though, as they charge you a disgusting rate for the phone call... Stressing to them that you need to be over earlier might help - but 5 weeks isn't too bad of a wait...
