Default l1a visa medical and documentation

Hi,

I've been working on my visa application and getting the necessary documents together.

On looking at the US embassy website I'm required to have an ACPO police certificate so I've ordered with 2 days turn around.

However I've noticed for the first time it states a medical examination is also required on the US embassy website? Is this correct? Can anyone advise what this involves? I've been all over these forums and can't see anyone mentioning a medical before interview.

Thanks!

Are you looking in the non immigrant section?

Yes - if you're getting an immigrant visa.

There's a reason for that!

I needed neither when my employer filled for my L1A in 2010, the only reason I could see you needing both of these would be something like a drink driving conviction. But if you have no criminal history I would not think you need it based on my own experience.
