L1A to GREEN CARD!!!! Just over 6 months :)))
We got the approval emails on the 25th June to say our cards have been ordered but were on a road trip so couldn't post! All seems quite fast now but dragged at the time. Can't believe we have LPR!!!!

Hi:
Time to repeat an old story from early in my practice which I think is instructive.
This was back in the day when there were no backlogs in the equivalent of today's FB-2 categories [unless one was a Filipino, but I digress].
I was hired by a Korean who had just immigrated 10 days before. He wanted to petition for his adult twin daughters. Korea has no "birth certificates" -- the equivalent is the "Family Census Register." Also, the two daughters had the same name but for the "middle name" [second part of the personal name].
So -- two identical I-130's but for one syllable difference in the name. Prepared by the same attorney and filed at the same time. First one was approved in 21 days. The other took 10 months.

I'd agree with that assessment
