Default L1 stamping in Bahamas

When my L1 is renewed can I have my Visa stamped in the bahamas? Has anyone on here done this recently?

Thanks CRG, I already saw that. I guess what I'm asking is how long it takes to do. My initial L1 was stamped in Switzerland and it took less than 24 hours! Does anyone know how long it might take in Nassau?

My OH had his L1 visa done in Nassau. You have to ring for an appointment and after your interview they will keep you passport until next day, when you return and collect (hopefully if paperwork ok !)
Atlantis is fun for a stopover - if expensive!

Thanks texasjan! That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, a quick trip with the family to Atlantis. My only worry was that it would take longer than a few days and I'd be stuck in the Bahamas.

Stuck in the Bahamas....hell

Suggest you take a look at the Quality Inn which is across the street from Atlantis and when we went last year the price of a room included tickets to Atlantis....much cheaper than actually staying in Atlantis but still had full access to it

There are other issues in your case, what does your Lawyer think?
