L1 to Greencard, what happens to L2?
Hi all,
I have a question which I have been thinking about.
When I get out to the US, I will be on a L1-B visa. If I get my company to apply for an EB3 Greencard for me - what will happen to my wife's L2/EAD status?
Cheers guys!

If you don't apply for a Green Card for her, she will go out of status
as you become a Permanent Resident, and will have to leave the USA
immediately. The normal thing is to apply for her Green Card at the
same time as yours, as a derivative of your application.

How would that work then? My employer would apply for an EB-3 Greencard for me (yeah, I know it'll take at least a couple of years), would she be included in this category as well? Would she also need to go through LC?

She can apply for a Green Card by virtue of being your wife, at the
time that you apply for a Green Card based on your employer's
sponsorship. I don't recall at which stage of the process she comes
into it - perhaps when filing the I-485; others here have far more
knowledge of this area than me.
