Default J1 Help?

I married a US Citizen and going through the process of filing my residency papers (not subject to 2 year law)

I have a J1 visa and am confused with one part of the I-765 form.

On Question 16 there is three boxes stated like ( ) ( ) ( ).....

From the instructions I dont know what Eligibility Category a J1 Trainee falls under?

Can anyone help? Thanks!!

The instructions on the I-765 don't refer to your J-1 status at all. They refer to how you qualify to obtain an EAD based on your marriage to a USC and subsequently filing for adjustment of status. See if you can find your category with that train of thought.

I think its this - 7A

"Adjustment Applicant--(c)(9). File your EAD
application with a copy of the receipt notice or other
evidence that your Form I-485, Application for
Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is pending.
You may file Form I-765 together with your Form I-485"

But im still not really sure!
