Investor Visa holder to sponsor H-1 for employee?

Hello:

I am wondering if an investor visa holder who has a company in the US
can sponsor an H-1 petition. Any ideas?

I don't see a reason why not. However, this employee probably couldn't
count towards the ten US workers that you'd have to hire.
