Interview and Oath Ceremony
I had my naturalization interview this morning and oath ceremony this afternoon. So rather unexpectedly I find myself being an American today. Can't believe it's all over.
One interesting thing at the interview was that they wanted proof that I had paid my fine for a motor violation in 2005. I know that this is not the norm but it pays to keep all copies of that sort thing filed safely away until after your oath! They did send a warning letter though, so I shouldn't grumble. My Scottish friend had to prove that she'd paid her fines as well, so may be it's an Atlanta thing.
Anyway thanks to you all for your advice over the past few years, which I mostly spent lurking.

Congratulations!!
Here in Phoenix, my husband did not need to show proof of his traffic ticket (not a moving violation). He declared it on the N-400, and was asked about it, but did not have to show proof that the fine was paid.

Don't you hate it when you unexpectedly find yourself a citizen of another country?
