Default I -751 Interview notice recieved

I received my interview notice today for the removal of my CPR status. It is scheduled for April 24th. My problem is the they asked for both myself and my ex husband to be present, which i don't understand as I files stating that I was divorced. I know he will not show up as he has since remarried, moved away and i was told his wife is pregnant. We were married for 4 years.
Will I be denied if he does not come to the interview with me?

No, you won't be denied because he is not there. I take it you filed after your divorce. Bring whatever evidence you had that your marriage was in good faith and that it was a viable marriage. Good luck.

Yes,I filed for removal of my I751 after my divorce.Well I filed jointly before,Took 3 years to get a response.By then we were divorced.Didn't know i had to withdraw my application and file all over again until I got to the interview Sent my application in Sept of 2005,and received my interview date today Jan14. If only things had moved that fast the first time round.

I'm would lay odds that the letter you received is a form letter for all I-751 interviews.

Keep the faith and may the force be with you ... a little old and new blessing.

PS Good Luck Karma coming your way

Which office/state do you have your interview in? I'm in the same boat as you, was married 5 years, and refiled the I-751 last year with a good-faith waiver. I received a letter back in August letting me know my file had been transfered to Charlotte and that I would be called in for an interview.

Good luck, even though it is a few months away.

Had my interview to today. They didn't ask to see anything and they didn't ask any questions. Just took my fingerprints, signed some papers and they stamped my passport. Was out in 5 mins.

Congratulations! I have the exact same interview in Charlotte on Wednesday. And I got the same letter asking for the spouse to be there. Married 4, divorced after 5. I hope it's that easy for me too.

Once again. Congrats and thanks for posting the update.
